Private music teacher Julian Smith has got through to the final of Britain's Got Talent on Saturday. The 39- year - old from Birmingham gave his incredible rendition of All By Myself on Thursday night and had the audience on their feet. A huge Kenny G fan, Julian has played in restaurants to gain recognition but his dream is to become a world renowned musician. The father of two changed Simon Cowell's mood for the better when he auditioned in Birmingham with his beautiful version of Somewhere from West Side Story, he even made Amanda cry. For Thursday's semi final he played Eric Carmen's classic, Piers Morgan even said "You're probably the coolest contestant we've ever had on this show." Once again he had Amanda on the verge of tears. Simon Cowell was in a particularly good mood saying, "I normally hate these kinds of acts...but I actually like you as a person, the fact you're humble...I think you've got a great chance."
Backed as being able to win the show, Julian will play his tenor saxophone again on Saturday in the final when one of the acts will be crowned the winner and perform in front of the Queen at The Royal Variety Show.
