Now 17 weeks post launch and our average daily visitor count of 285 a day has our total running at 31,925 WOW! WITH NO ADVERTISING

We are in fact receiving well over 1,200 visitors a day since Thursday 9th August 2007. What a success!. Our site is already networking businesses and schools following email enquiries, letters and phone calls and as yet, we have not advertised our site anywhere.

Our 'Spotlight On' for May follows Castleford Maypole and Dance Troupe run via Locke Lane Residents Group, at their first dance of the season The Crowning of the Maypole in Castleford Town Centre yesterday.

Our 'Featured School of the Month' is Simply Dancing Partners run by Jenni Kravitz down in London.

The 'Festival Update' covers The Ridings Global Dance Festival at Lundwood Priory School, Lundwood, Barnsley, Monday 28th to Thursday 31st May 2007.

Championships

Championships taking place at the festival hosted by Ms. Eleanor Claire of The Dance Depot will be:

Miss Dance of Great Britain heat at 6.15pm on Monday 28th

Junior Ballet Championship at 7.30pm on Tuesday 29th

North East of England Senior Ballet Championship at 8.05pm on Wednesday 30th

North East of England Senior Modern Championship at 6.45pm on Thursday 31st

The Adjudicators choice will take place at 8.15pm and the Presentation of Awards at 8.45pm on the evening of Thursday 31st. Good Luck to all entrants.
