Female Performer Wanted - Knowledge or Circus Abilities a Bonus

Wanted young female performer between 21-28

For the Tale In Time production of 'Why Does the Child Bake in Polenta', a piece of new writing adapted from the autobiographical novel by Aglaja Veternayi.

Requirements: experience in physical theatre/physically able ideally with some dance experience, devising abilities (you will be working in a total theatre environment), strong grasp of monologue and textual analysis, willingness to play and exchange, and an ease/experience at working alongside puppets and objects. Circus knowledge/abilities not required but a bonus.

The performance will take place in March at Central School of Speech and Drama, to be taken further to an outside venue. Most rehearsals will take place in the evening.

The newly formed company takes an interest in methods of storytelling and the power of stories, and the long term project aims to tour at other venues until summer. There is possibility of further work with the company.
